I am at the University of Windsor today with some students, participating in a workshop on Social Justice.  You will have the following:

Math Homework from lesson 8.1  (Squares and Square Roots)

Literacy:  Prepare your questions and answers for tomorrow for novel study.

You will write a newspaper article based on the CONFEDERATION OF CANADA.  
Your article must summarize the process of Confederation.  This means you must include the following:
  • Reasons for confederation
  • Founding Fathers of Confederation
  • Which provinces decided to confederate
  • The year of confederation
  • The two major confederation conferences
  • An explanation of the Constitution, and the reason for it.


Include a cartoon picture drawn by YOU to go with your article.
