Homework: Friday, February 21

Team Canada in the GOLD MEDAL GAME!  Woo hoo!


Although the above clip is from 2010, we used it to teach the school the song "I AM CANADIAN."Everyone was singing and cheering during intermissions, and we had a great time watching the men advance to the Gold medal game today!  What an inspiring moment, and how proud we are as Canadians today!

Homework this weekend is:  Newspaper Article due Thursday.

Basketball Update

The girls' basketball team played a nail-biting playoff game against St. Greg's tonight.  I lost my voice, and almost my mind, as the game came down to a difference of three points.

The final score was St. Mary's 28, St. Greg's 31.

Although we are sad the season is over, Mr. DePape and I are EXTREMELY proud of each and every one of our players.  It was amazing to see how far they have come in skills, teamwork, and leadership.





We look forward to starting badminton right after March Break.

Go Canada!!!

Way to go Women!!  Canada's women won gold today in overtime against USA!

Show your pride and wear red and white or your Canada attire as we root on the men in the semi-finals tomorrow!!!

  • An explanation of the Constitution, and the reason for it.
